We would like to invite you to a PowerSchool Prepare to Build Workshop to be held at Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit on Wednesday, February 7th, 2017 from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. Some of the items that will be covered include:

•     Introduce PowerScheduler and Prepare to Build Process
•      Discuss and setup schedule scenarios
•      Analyze the room, teacher, student and course requests setup
•      Walk through comprehensive setup of courses, including course relationships
•      Discuss the use of constraints
•      Generating/analyzing scheduling reports
•      Download schedule engine and demonstrate the build process
•      Evaluate common errors in the process

Attendees should have completed at least the Introduction to PowerSchool training and be very familiar with navigation in PowerSchool. All attendees should be able to work on their own, know the basics of scheduling terminology and understand the parameters of your own school schedule.

Those who are going to be involved in the build process should attend this process. That could include, Principals, Assistant Principals, guidance counselors and/or guidance secretaries that will be assisting in this phase of the process.

Our PowerSchool trainers will be on hand to provide assistance if needed. This workshop will give you the opportunity to actually begin work on your master schedule. You can work at your own pace. The workshop will last from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm but the computer lab will be available until 3:00 pm if needed.
