This training will review the various ways data can be imported and exported in PowerSchool. Topics that will be covered include:

System Administration Overview

The PowerSchool21 team is conducting a PowerSchool System Administration overview training webinar on Thursday March 16 from 9:00AM-11:00AM via Zoom. The intended audience is for those district staff who manage the PowerSchool SIS in their districts. This will be a broad overview of the various settings and configurations that are necessary for efficient operation of the PowerSchool SIS.

Some of the topics that will be covered are:

  • Configuring District and School settings, including attendance, document attachments, change history, and public access

  • Creating a custom login screen for admin, teachers, and parents

  • Creating a district-wide calendar for easier calendar management

  • Use of code sets, data validation, and text masks to manage data entry more effectively

  • Exporting and importing data through DDE, Data Import/Export Manager, and AutoSend/Comm

  • Adding translation languages for PowerSchool SIS through localization

  • Managing staff and student photos
